Trivia
- The secondary title of this episode, "Ophelia", comes from the character of the same name in the play Hamlet by William Shakespeare.
- The portrayal of Re-l floating on the lake's surface, as if dead, is a parallel to Ophelia's fate in the play, who committed suicide by drowning. Re-l's posture, with her hands partially raised, mirror an exact painting of Ophelia done by the British painter John Everett Millais in 1852.
